I will cater to a wide spectrum of fiction genres, but if you are writing SciFi (especially Cyberpunk), then chances are you will have my immediate attention. Feel free to contact me with details if you have questions regarding specifics.
Romance will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Please also understand that language is a fluid mechanic. Opinions differ from editor to editor and author to author. While you are at total liberty to disagree with my final corrections, you are still obligated to pay for services rendered.

Content Editing:
This is where I examine in detail your plot, character development, and sentence structure. To be clear: I am not altering your writing voice. I give you prompts to think on so you can develop your tone as an author.
My content editing is available in two flavors:
Detail Content Editing:
This service is charged at a rate of .008 cents/word.
This is more of a coaching service rather than a total reconstruction of your novel. I offer personalized reporting on a sample of your writing, then give consultations based on the direction suggested.
A fair amount of times authors will learn common or repetitive issues in their work, and with my help, be able to identify and correct their own irregularities. This process will also save time and money in the long run since an total examination will not be necessary.
This is how the project relationship works:
After the agreement contract is signed, you will send me 1-2 of your selected chapters.
I will then look over the work and make detailed notes on grammar, syntax, plot, and character structures, as well as other details that may need smoothing out. Then I will send back to you the edits and suggestions I have made, as well as a report on any overarching concerns.
After your initial corrections are made, you may choose to have me edit the entire novel, or commission me to read additional chapters.
I would like to emphasize that you are at total liberty to disagree with my final corrections, but you are still obligated to pay for services rendered, including any and all consultations.
ALSO: I am NOT a replacement for a copy editor! I serve a completely different purpose. While there may be some glaring things I correct because that annoy me, I cannot guarantee I will have caught any or everything else. Especially considering so much re-working will shift the manuscript.

Readthroughs/Beta Reads:
This service is for a fresh perspective on your project. I will pass through your manuscript and write up a report on my impressions, including common grammatical concerns, and a general critique of plot and character development.
To be clear, I will NOT correct the concerns, just read through everything and inform you of my findings.

This service is offered in three primary size packages:
- Ten Pages - $25
- Under 100k - Flat rate of $50
- Over 100k - Rate of $50 plus $1 for every 5k words after. Work is rounded to the nearest five thousand words.
- Ex: a 280k word piece would be $86. ($50 for first 100k + $36 for remaining 180k)

Due to the nature of the work, I DO NOT offer refunds for services rendered. Please make sure you are confident that my skill set is compatible with your projects. You can always contact me for details and for a sample edit. Sample edits are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for first time clients.
